Who do we work with?

We support vulnerable children from pre-birth to 11yrs and their families living within the Forest of Dean, Gloucester City and Stroud.

We do not take on referrals received directly to our centres/staff.

What do we do?

We provide solution and outcome focused targeted intervention services for families who may be experiencing issues including (but not limited to):

  • Difficulties with parenting or with their own relationship
  • Domestic abuse
  • Children with behavioural difficulties
  • Problems engaging in education and other statutory services
  • Emotional or physical welfare issues
  • Mental health and well-being
  • Financial and housing difficulties

We do not provide support to families where a specified role has not been identified for TFS involvement or where there are already multiple agencies involved with the family sufficient to meet all presenting needs.

How do we work?

We hold the Lead Professional role for MyPlans, My Plan+, EHCP and other multi agency assessments and plans, drawing on multi-agency support at appropriate times via robust partnership working arrangements.

We do not carry out work with families who meet the Social Care threshold prior to the completion of a Social Care Initial Assessment.
