Protecting children
Whether in the home, at school, online or in the local community, we support children and young people who have been abused and help them feel safe again. We also reach out to children at risk of harm, giving them the support they need.
Child exploitation
We have been supporting sexually exploited children for more than 20 years. We run specialist services in various locations across the UK. We reach out to young people at risk of or experiencing child sexual exploitation and offer them confidential support in a safe environment.
Child abuse
We support thousands of children and young people who have experienced all types of abuse. We help them feel safe and take control of their recovery.
Parental issues
We have been helping children deal with parental issues across a wide range of problems since we began.
Relationships
Relationships make up a big part of growing up. We help young people to work through the troubles associated with relationships with friends, family and within educational settings.
Domestic abuse
We see first-hand the devastating impact of domestic abuse on children’s health and future outcomes. We can support victims and perpetrators of domestic abuse, by providing and signposting to specialist domestic abuse services, including safety planning and therapeutic work.
Educational issues
We are able to support children with a variety of educational issues and work in partnership with schools to better understand individual needs.
Emotional and physical support
It can be tough growing up. Many thousands of young people go through periods of mental ill health. When this happens, it can be difficult for them to make and keep friends, manage at school and feel good about themselves. It can also be bewildering for their families.
